I am“Ru”, one half of the Philly-bred, NY-based avant-pop music project Famous Letter Writer. Full of gritty, witty, combustible pop, our debut, W̶A̶R̶H̶O̶L̶A̶, premiered in American Songwriter, where it was dubbed, "from front to back, a success" with singles featured in places like NPR. "Warhol/Warhola," the lead single, premiered in Talkhouse, along with the first of ten short films, a throwback homage to Warhol's DIY, avant-garde aesthetic. Our next project DADAMAMA will be released over 2025.
